Water, Electricity and Gas, these are all very expensive in France.

We have Creuse Heures ( economy tariffs) 2.30pm – 4.30pm and 1.30am – 6.30am everyday and would appreciate if you could use these hours should you wish to use the washing & dishwasher machines.

The individual hot water ballons also use these hours to heat the hot water for your use.

For your comfort, please ensure that no account should sanitary towels, nappies etc, etc, be flushed down the toilets !You will be responsible for the cost of the removal of any such items. Blocked systems are highly inconvenient for everyone; repairs are expensive and the culprit can normally be identified.

Please also ensure that taps are not left running. A tap left running for only a short time uses up a large volume of water and overflows cause expensive damage.

You must look after your accommodation during your stay.

This means that you must keep all furniture, fittings and effects (inside and outside the property) in the same state of repair as at the start of your stay.

Whilst we hope and trust you will respect and enjoy the beauty of the grounds and feel free to walk and explore the property, please respect the privacy of other residents staying within the complex (as we insist upon the same for yourself) and, of the neighbour’s property and land.

It is the case that we reserve the right to eject any family, group or person who is/are obnoxious, abusive to or endanger the safety of other guests, staff or neighbours of the property.

You must leave your accommodation in the same state of general order in which you found it.

If you break these conditions we reserve the right to make an additional cleaning charge and/or make a claim against you for repair or loss as a result of damage caused. However, we know and accept that accidents happen, and ask that any breakages, spillages or other damage be notified to us straight away.

The booking contract between us, and any dispute arising out of it, is wholly governed by French consumer and contract law.

The local Commune do not currently charge a local tourist Tax. If this changes all pre-bookings will be notified of the tax that will be  charged.

Thank you for taking the time to read these Terms and Conditions.

We look forward to meeting you here at Les Gigards!
